Lincoln's assassin stands in the area above Lincoln. Five co-conspirators stand below him Kunhardt '92 [pp 30-35]. The print in Kunhardt '92 is damaged -- Lincoln's image was obliterated by a "careless fingerprint on the emulsion of the still-wet negative." However, the image shown Ostendorf '98 [p 390] shows Lincoln.
